Therapy with me

It can feel very difficult to ask for help. Many people wonder “what will we talk about?”

You set the agenda - we will talk about what is concerning you. If you’re not sure where to start, I will help you by asking some questions about what is happening.

I will also ask questions to find out about your background and life so far.

You will then find that you have a space in which you can work through and make sense of those things that are troubling you.

Next Steps

  • If you are interested in therapy with me, the first step is to contact me using the details in the contact page. I will endeavour to respond to your message within 24 hours.

  • If you would like an initial free 15-minute telephone conversation to discuss your requirements and assess whether I’m right for you prior to our first session, then please do request this.

  • Our first meeting will provide an opportunity for both of us to assess whether we would like to proceed. I will ask some background questions to inform our work.

  • If you are happy to continue working together after the first meeting, then we will meet once per week, at the same time each week. I will suggest an initial commitment of 6 sessions.
